- Allotment
of assignments is at the discretion of the Dean of Academic
Medicine office.
- Once
assignments are allotted they are mandatory. Failing to
complete the assignments on time will result in disqualification
for the weekly and semester ending exams.

Every student will be given the list of topics to be completed
by the Deans office.

Student is required to complete them within the time frame.

All assignments have to be completed at www.windsor.edu
(WIN ASSIGNMENTS SECTION).

Student is required to research for the material on the
assignment, collect all the information like points, notes,
charts, tables, illustrated pictures, graphs and any other
information relating to the assignment.

Student is required to login and type all the assignment
material into the assignment section on our WIN ASSIGNMENT
page and submit them.

Any charts, tables, illustrated pictures, graphs and pictures
which cannot be entered into our WIN ASSIGNMENTS on Windsor
site have to be mailed by post or email (assignments@windsor.edu)
as an attachment to our US Information office or submitted
to the Deans office in St. Kitts. The postal charges for
mailing part of assignments will be reimbursed to the student.

Points, notes and text material has to be submitted on WIN
ASSIGNMENTS section of Windsor web site. Only charts, tables,
illustrated pictures, graphs and pictures which cannot be
entered on web site have to be mailed by post or email (assignments@windsor.edu)
as an attachment to our offices as a supplement to the assignment.

Student cannot copy from a text book, related web sites
or any other copy righted books or CD's. All the submitted
assignments will be reviewed by our staff.

Students are encouraged to collect all the relevant material
on the assignment and put it in his or her own words and
prepare the assignments. Student is encouraged to compile
all the important relevant information on the assignment
and put it in simple words like a story covering exam points,
clinical correlates and other important information that
every student should know. Your assignments will be read
by other students and similarly you will read others assignments
which will be very useful for USMLE exams, Hence please
make sure that you work hard on the assignments and make
a thorough complete paper for others to read, It is also
important that the assignment must not be a lengthy one
but a short one covering basic and clinical information
like structure, basic science facts, normal function, abnormal
function, diagnosis, differential diagnosis, labs, management
and all the information in a point wise manner from exam
point of view. Please make sure that you do include only
relevant information, Make sure that you write a few points
on the structure and function of the organ or system that
is in question in your assignment.

Make sure that you make as many tables, charts as possible.
Include most of the information in a comparative format
in a chart or table. Also include illustrated diagrams or
pictures. See the below examples:

All assignments will be graded by the faculty for the standards.
Any assignment that is not upto the standard and is copied
from text or net directly will be removed and the student
will be asked to complete it again.

Grading for the assignments will be A, A+, B, B+, C, C+
, R ( Rejected ).

Benefits of the assignments for the students: If any student
is in the border and need few marks to pass the semester
ending exams, these assignment grades will be taken into
consideration provided the student gets A, A+, B and B+.
This is at the discretion of the faculty and Deans office
based on the students overall performance during that semester.

Other benefit for the student will be to review all the
students' assignment which will be helpful for the examinations.

As a reminder all student assignments must be completed
on time by visiting WIN ASSIGNMENTS page on our web site.
Any additional charts, tables, graphs, pictures that cannot
be entered into our WIN ASSIGNMENTS can be handed over to
Deans office or US information office. Only charts, tables,
graphs, pictures have to be mailed or email (assignments@windsor.edu)
as an attachment, post or handed over at St. Kitts. Text
for the assignment has to be entered on the site.
