Welcome to Windsor University School of Medicine Premed MD program, MD program and Health care Professional MD program workshops.          

About the Workshop
These workshops are conducted for the benefit of the students who wish to pursue MD or Medicine as their career.
         

Who is eligible to attend Workshops ...... ?
   
All High School graduates, college graduates and Health care Professional students can register to attend the workshop
         

What happens at Workshops ...... ?
   
There will be 3 sessions, Session-1 would educate the student on the pros and cons of becoming a physician, motivation and focus on life to become a physician and counseling for all the students who need assistance in understanding the merits of attending medical school and becoming a physician. Students will have a complete orientation of Premed/MD program, MD program and HCP program. Students attending these workshops will have an Academic and Non-Academic programs. Session-2 would educate the student on the Academic programs which include: Introductory course work in Basic Human Anatomy ( Structure of Human Body ), Basic Human Physiology ( Normal Function of Human Body ), Basic Human Pathology ( Abnormal Functions of Human Body ), Role of a Physician in the medical practice with detailed information on Etiology, Diagnosis, Differential Diagnosis, Lab tests and treatment of human diseases. This workshop will provide, CD Roms, Printed notes and handouts. These workshops will also conduct a test at the end of the workshop which will help the student to evaluate himself or herself before choosing the MD program. Session-3 would educate the student on Non-Academic programs which include orientation on information about the Basic Sciences MD program at St. Kitts, Clinical Rotations in US, UK and other parts of the world, USMLE exams and other information like About the Country of St. Kitts, Living in St. Kitts, Recognitions of the program, USMLE teaching methods and many other programs.
         

What are the benefits for the students who attend the workshops ......?

  1. Student will have complete orientation on the MD program offered at Windsor University School of Medicine

  2. Students will have a orientation on Human body with respect to structure, and function. This will enable the student to have a good start when he or she actually starts the first class of the MD program. Student will also average well on the weekly tests that are conducted by the medical school.

  3. Student will know everything about the program which will prepare him or her what to expect when he or she decides to choose this MD program as their career.

  4. Student will have an on spot admission privilege at the workshop.

  5. Student will also have a several benefits from their original tuition fees.

  6. After attending the seminar student will go back home with enormous amount of information on becoming a physician and choosing MD program as career.

  7. Student on attending this seminar will develop extreme confidence after attending the introductory academic program hours.

Location
These workshops are conducted by the Windsor US Information office and are conducted in the 3 star full service luxurious hotels. Windsor University School of Medicine offers these workshops at no cost to the student. Windsor provides a free Hotel accommodation, transportation, breakfast, Lunch and Dinner to all the students who register and attend these workshops. Please call for the locations and hotel Information. The Hotels and the facilities are chosen for all its applicants where Restaurant, coffee shop, Indoor heated swimming pools, Sauna rooms and Gym facilities are available.

These workshops are conducted every month throughout the year.

The workshops will last for 2 days with Pre-Lunch and Post-Lunch sessions

Timings of the workshop are Pre-Lunch: 9.00-12.00. Lunch: 12.00-1.00, Post-Lunch: 1.00-4.00 PM. Breakfast, Coffee, Lunch and Dinner would be provided at the workshop.

Students and parents can attend these workshops only with prior registration at www.windsor.edu or call 618-457-6600 All registered students for these workshops have absolutely no fees at attend these workshops.
