    At Windsor University School of Medicine, our goal is to provide a quality education, centered on critical thinking, with smaller-sized classes and early clinical exposure, to a talented and diverse population of students determined to make an undeniable impact on the communities they serve.  With tuition starting at $7,190 per semester, WUSOM guarantees one of the lowest tuition rates of all accredited Caribbean medical schools. However, we understand that it can still be tough to finance a medical education. This is why we offer a variety of scholarships and grants to help you build a viable financial plan to offset the cost of your medical education.

    Scholarships Available for Prospective and Current students

    Obtaining an MD Degree is a major financial undertaking, but by maintaining affordable tuition, providing scholarships, and offering flexible student loans, WUSOM brings you one step closer to pursuing your dream of becoming a physician without a mountain of debt.

    Nationals of St. Kitts

    Total Scholarship offered for tuition fees for basic and clinical sciences portion of MD program, students pay for other administrative fees and living expenses

    Founder's Academic Scholarship

    In memory of our founder and past president, Dr. Srinivas Gaddam, Windsor University School of Medicine has established an academic scholarship. Those students selected will receive 15% of the tuition fee per semester (applied to the tuition) for the MD program.


    Prospective students will receive this competitive scholarship based on an overall GPA of 3.5 from the previous institution, interview, and submission of any application material (personal statement, letters of recommendation, etc.)

    
This academic scholarship must be maintained with an overall GPA of 3.5 throughout the MD Program.

    U.S. Military Veterans Scholarship

    10% of the tuition fee per basic science semester with maintenance of 3.5 GPA during the program. Students can apply to other scholarships if eligible.

    Research Excellence Scholarship

    WUSOM Provides scholarships for medical students who have demonstrated exceptional research skills or have made significant contributions to medical research projects. This will be determined by the Dean of Research and a maximum of two students per term can apply. The scholarship will be 2000$ used towards the tuition for that term.

    Windsor university school of medicine offers a 4-year medical program accredited by CAAM-HP. Our program offers a rigorous education model designed to develop an in-depth understanding of different healthcare systems and patient populations. Our St. Kitts campus is modeled after the best US medical schools – a 30,000 square foot state-of-the-art building comprised of a larger library facility, simulation lab, small group learning rooms, student lounges, and gymnasium.

    Windsor University School of Medicine is an accredited Caribbean medical school, determined by the Caribbean Accreditation Authority for Education in Medicine and other Health Professions (CAAM-HP).
    Most ACCM or CAAM-HP accredited medical schools in the Caribbean have a much more affordable tuition fee as compared to US and Canadian medical schools, and the cost of living is also significantly lower than it would be in the U.S. At WUSOM, we are committed to making a quality medical education affordable and accessible for every deserving student. With a tuition fee starting at $7,190 per semester, the total cost of tuition for the MD program amounts to only $93400—not including housing and other fees – which makes WUSOM the most affordable Caribbean medical schools amongst all accredited Caribbean med schools.
    WUSOM offers a variety of medical school scholarships and grants to help aspiring doctors offset the cost of medical education. Available to those who apply and qualify.
