How can I apply to the Biomedical sciences program?
Start by completing the online application form. Click the “Apply Now” button on the school website to access the full application. Applicants will be prompted to select the program and semester they wish to apply for. Typically, students with a high school diploma can apply to Semester 1 of the Biomedical Sciences program. Be sure to gather all required documents listed on the application checklist: Application Checklist.
When can I apply?
Applicants can submit their applications for any of the three rolling semesters: January, May, and September ( Academic Calendar). Applications should be submitted early to allow adequate time for admission processing. Once a decision is issued, additional steps, such as visa processing, may require extra time, especially for international applicants.
How long is the Biomed Program?
The Biomedical Sciences program consists of 4 semesters, totaling 16 months. Students can apply by completing the online application. However, upon acceptance, students from Nigeria may choose to attend either the satellite campus in Nigeria or the main campus in St. Kitts.
How long is one semester?
Each term in the Biomedical Sciences program is approximately 15 weeks. For specific start and end dates, please refer to the Academic Calendar.
Can I apply if I have completed my high school?
Any high school graduate is eligible to apply. However, each applicant must provide their transcript and/or diploma and must have successfully passed any required board examinations specific to their country of education.

What is the structure of the Biomed program, and how does it lead to the MD program?
The Biomed program is designed to provide foundational coursework in sciences, mathematics, and other subjects essential for medical studies. After successful completion, students will qualify to enter the MD program, provided they meet the academic and admission requirements.
How long does it take to complete the Biomed program and the MD program?
The Biomed program typically takes 16 months. Afterward, the MD program typically takes 4 years to complete, with the first two years focused on basic sciences (conducted on the island of St. Kitts) and the final two years dedicated to clinical sciences (completed in the USA or Jamaica).
