ADMISSIONS
Welcome to Windsor University School of Medicine. Our internationally accredited medical school has a beautiful campus on the island of St. Kitts. At Windsor University School of Medicine, you will encounter an advanced educational curriculum, gain experience in leadership, and provide extensive hands-on patient care to hone your knowledge and apply it in real-world settings. As a graduate of Windsor University School of Medicine, you will gain certifications and become eligible to take the United States Medical Examination (USMLE®) and Medical Council of Canada Evaluating Examination (MCCEE). You will also have opportunities to participate in National Resident Matching Programs and Canadian Resident Matching Service. (CaRMS).

Admission Requirements
To be admitted to Windsor University School of Medicine, you must possess the basic matriculation requirements from an accredited institution. This also includes an undergraduate degree (or foreign equivalent). We recommend applicants complete a minimum of 90 hours of undergraduate coursework before matriculation.
In our Requirements section, you will also find required coursework in the areas of general biology or zoology, inorganic or general chemistry, organic chemistry or biochemistry, physics, English or the humanities, and mathematics. You are also expected to submit two letters of recommendation along with a personal essay and an overview of personal activities and achievements.
Your Application Checklist
Pre-med and MD program applications are accepted at the start of each trimester, in January, May, and September. To help you with the application process, the Office of Admissions has created a general application checklist to give you a basic idea of the items you will need before you apply:
- Official transcript
- Completed application form
- Medical College Admission Test (MCAT) scores or similar test (US/Canada Students ONLY)
- Two official letters of recommendation
- Personal statement
- Curriculum vitae
- Two passport-sized photos
